Position Description:
As an IA Analyst, you will work with other team members to support and protect our Federal/Civilian customer’s IT System Security Programs. The majority of your responsibilities will be related to the protection of mission critical information and information systems in accordance with prevailing Federal laws and regulations, as well as customer-specific requirements. Your day-to-day activities will vary, depending on the customer’s priorities, but will primarily involve IA activities, such as:
- Determining enterprise information assurance and security standards.
- Developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures.
- Coordinating, developing, evaluating and providing feedback to our customer on their IT security programs.
- Recommending information assurance/security solutions to support our customers’ requirements.
- Identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations reported to, or identified by, you.
- Establishing and satisfying information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of regulatory/policy requirements and user/resource demands.
- Supporting our customer in the development and implementation of IT security doctrine and policies.
- Applying your knowledge and experience to develop specialized security features and procedures.
- Performing analysis, designing, and developing security features for system architectures.
- Analyzing and defining security requirements for our customer’s computer systems.
- Designing, developing, engineering, and implementing solutions that meet our customer’s security requirements.
- Providing integration and implementation of computer system security solutions.
- Analyzing general information assurance-related technical problems and providing basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
- Performing vulnerability and risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the SDLC.
- Ensuring all information systems under your purview are functional and secure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the analysis of information and information resources associated with IT systems in accordance with OMB, FISMA, and NIST requirements
- Possess excellent client relationship skills
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have the desire and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Desire and ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to pass a public trust clearance
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science or related degree
